Interview with Fr. Peter Vasko-Where Jesus Walked
For centuries, The Franciscan brothers have played a major role in the Holy Land. A century after they were founded, they were charged by Pope Clement VI with the care of the holy places located there. As such, they were and are intimately associated with the three great monotheistic faiths that dwell in and around Jerusalem.
Fr. Peter Vasko, a Franciscan himself as well as a Knight Grand Cross in our Order, has been one of the key representatives in the Holy Land and can give a first-hand account of the situation there.
The following interview, written by Kevin Di Camillo and appearing in the National Catholic Register, contributes eloquently to the goal of Abraham’s Tent…which is to seek out a better understanding of the three great Abrahamic faiths.
